Just getting to watch now....

DolphinDan - I never "got" Kellie Pickler...However, after tonight, I can see what there is to "get" about her . And then she sang...but that didn't really matter in the end now did it?

I'm quite disappointed as to who left where the guys are concerned. I think Nick had a really good voice, but I would agree that he lacked personality. As for AJ, I think he had a good voice, too, but maybe a little too much personality. Personally, I don't think either of them deserved to go home. I'd have gotten rid of Sanjaya, Phil, or Brandon before them.

As for the girls - I'll miss Alaina...not so much her voice, though, if you know what I mean, so I guess with this being a singing competition, I shouldn't be disappointed. But I'll miss seeing her next week . And I'll miss Leslie's personality, but her singing, not so much. I think Leslie definitely had potential and I think that Antonella should've gone home before either of them, but I'm not really disappointed with the girls going home.

Note to future Idol singers...Feeling Good is not a song to sing on Idol! But I loved what Leslie did at the end with it...She's right, though. She shouldn't have scatted at the end of that song.

I think that you are right. I also thought it was funny that Ryan asked her if she bought anything with her money since Idol as he cast a glance down at her. Her response - shoes - was great!

Wow! I am very disappointed with this week's results. Last night I boldly suggested that they should kick Sanjaya off twice. I cannot believe he is still there. I guess too many 13-year old girls hogged up the phones the other night. I was really surprised to see him get the "stay".

And then there Antonella. Again, the 13 year olds. Nope, this time I bet it's the dirty old men. My other half said the pictures would keep her around for another week. I guess I give America too much credit.

What are you people thinking? You have a tramp and a Michael Jackson wannabee. Justin Timberlake was a MJ wannabee too, but at least he has talent.

Even Sanjaya thought he was going home. I was hoping when Ryan asked him "did you think it was you, Sanjaya", that he would then say, "I was just kidding, YOU are leaving us Sanjaya." So much for wishful thinking.

I'm going out on a limb here, but this could be the year that American Idol falls a bit. Aside from Melinda and Lekiesha, I think the top 12 is going to be rather boring. There will not be anywhere near the talent they had last year. That is unfortunate, because I thought the show was building momentum. And if either of the girls I just mentioned doesn't make the top 12, There will be some real problems. Fortunately, I don't think the producers will allow that to happen.

Lastly, a question that I think I already know the answer to, but...
Is that Chris Daughtry singing the at the end of the show?

Actually, DialIdol didnt have it ALL wrong, because Antonella and Sanjay are still there. The site had the both of them in the top 3. Unfortunantly, there is a good chance they WILL make the show . . . Anytime AJ goes home insted of Sanjaya, you KNOW something is WRONG!

I'm disappointed in last night's results but not surprised. I can't believe we're going to be subjected to more Antonella and Sanjaya

Didn't see much of Kellie, I flipped over to Survivor. Did not like her hair at all.
And yes it did look like she made a major purchase!

Eh, was I surprised at last night show? Nope... disappointed yes but not surprised. I was glad to see Alaina go and Leslie, while more interesting, didn't bother me either. Until this show gets down to the top 10 or so, VFTW does seem to have an impact on the results. With Antonella their female pick, I fear we'll be seeing her for a few more weeks. Bleech.

The guys were an even bigger disappointment. The two I wanted to be gone, Sanjaya and Chris R, are still there. Oh well, in a perfect world my phone would be the only one they'd let get through. Wasn't all that surprised about Nick going but I was disappointed with AJ's elimination. I really liked his voice and last night's encore was even better than his performance Tuesday night.

Loved seeing the Pickler again but sweetie, get a new stylist. That hair!!! And who poured her into that dress??

I was another one wondering what that bang followed by no sound was. I though someone might have done something in the studio. Remember last year when some jerks yelled something out to Mandisa?

Guess I'll have to make a sacrifice to the Idol Gods and beg them for intervention with who gets eliminated next week.

As for her Dolly-esque makeover...double barf! She looks like she had some work done facillay and uh chestally? Pickler has been aged by about 20 years!

VFTW must think they are an absolute hoot. What they are, is a pathetic bunch of losers (ever see the South Park episode that revolved around the World of Warcraft? I imagine that they look much like the kids playing the game).

Kelly, while not nearly the best singer last year, was so much cuter before. Last night just about everything was wrong, the hair, too much eye makeup, the long tight dress & the 2 or should I say 4 enhancements. She had a fun sense of humor before, I hope she doesn't lose it trying to be whatever that was last night.

Just before the sound went off when Ryan was talking to the girl who got booted, Aliana?, she was holding that mic thing they wear on the back of their clothes & I think she dropped it. Maybe it screwed up the sound when it banged on the floor.

I am so upset about last night's results!!!!! I didn't think AJ or Leslie would win, but I do like their personalities. I think Leslie is cute, and I liked her "smoky" tone. She was lively, as was AJ. They needed to stay another week!!!!!!!!!!! Sanjaya and Antonella make me sick to my stomach when I watch them.
