Did I miss that super fine young man who auditioned in NYC?

if you are referring to the young black guy I think he just went home....I think they showed him squatting with his back against the wall...I think it was him

I hate that they barely show this part! I think they should show a lot more - like 4 hours instead of 1. They left us hanging on so many favorites from the auditions - we're just left wondering what happened.

I was really surprised at Bailey (?name?) as well....I thought for sure, no matter the forgetfullness - she had it in the bag.

I noticed one of the roller skating girls, Ashley (the one with all the makeup) got sent home. I wonder what happened to Ebony. I thought she was great, but I didn't see her tonight.

So I had to work through all of the pre hollywood shows and again tonight...but this was my last night, back on days! Is the show on tomorrow (wednesday) night? I am so out of the loop this year. I keep telling my DH that we HAVE to get DVR and he refuses to listen! I only saw 1 show so far!

Yes it is on tomorrow night. And my Dh did not want a DVR eather and know he cant figure out how he ever lived without it...and same here. My friends kept saying to get one and aftera year we decide to and it was a great move.

Also, dont forget about the old VCR! I still have 3, and I never miss anything I want to see. I also have a TIVO.

As for the show, I'm glad that the heavy-set White guy with the big curly hair made it! (Anybody know his name?) I thought he was really funny, and could really sing. I hope he makes it to the show!

That was Chris Sligh and he's been my favorite since his first audition. I predict he will definitely be in the top 12 and may go pretty far. So far I am just not feeling the girls this year but I like a couple of the guys I have seen. Maybe that will change after we get to the top 24 and we hear more of the singing and less of the backstage (aka pointless) stuff.

I like Chris Sligh a lot too. He seems kind of like a dark horse like Taylor was. And I loved Taylor. Sundance seems like he's going to be in the Chris Daughtry role this season. And I thought that Bailey girl was going to make it before she forgot her words and did nothing during the song. What was up with her group, though?? "God likes good people"??!! I was really glad that other blonde girl got kicked out, but I'm still not impressed with the brunette.

was i the only one who thought that Sundance WASN'T that good tonight?? i mean, yeah he sounded good in the auditions, but i dunno, he didn't sound very good to me.

if that's the case, and i'm the only person who thinks so, then you might be right sweetspicy, he might just be the Chris Daughtry of this season(hated that guy....)
