My final tally:
#1 Sundance
#2 Chris S.
#3 Phil
#4 Blake
#5 AJ
#6 Jared
#7 Chris R
#8 Nick
#9 Brandon
#10 Sanjaya
But I think Brandon & Nick will be going home.
My Rankings:
#1. Sundance: John Popper meets Taylor Hicks, I loved it.
2. Phil Stacey: Better than the original, a great choice, a great voice, and a solider, great combo!
3. Chris R.: So far he's only sung songs Elliott sang last year + this song by a Richmond native, gotta love it here in VA.
4. Blake: Awesome performance, showed his own originality in an awesome song.
BIG GAP BETWEEN 4 and 5
5. Jared: This song is so great that it's easy to make it sound good, he did just ok with it.
6. Chris S: Somewhat boring, but he had a good vocal performance.
7. Brandon: He sounded a little wimpy, but it was a good choice, and an average performance.
8. AJ: I didn't like it, a somewhat generic choice and a boring performance.
9. Nick: Ehhh, he has no personality and a bland voice, this did nothing for me.
10. Sanjaya: Just terrible, it was like spoken word by Michael Jackson to 40s music.
