i don't have the clip again to go look at it. but she looked like she meant "Johnson", she didn't look like she was "joking" but maybe it's just how i saw it.

she was a bit snippy. she kept trying to talk and i'm like "shut up!!! you're done singing already!" lol.

I'll see if I can find you a clip. I'm sure she was just being a tease to Randy.

funny how they don't call her on it AT ALL. considering this IS the semi-finals....you really think they'd mention "this is NOT the time to mess up a song"

plus she didn't even hit one of the high notes, it sounded awful. i was surprised they didn't mention that, either.

And re: your earlier comment about the producers getting rid of Sanjaya - I won't say how I know, but they had a definite hand in him getting the axe.

yeah i thought it sounded different too, thank god it wasn't just me. i was beginning to think i was losing it....or what i have left of "it" lol.

oh well you KNEW they wanted him gone and they can basically do whatever they want with that show. you should PM me and tell me how you know! lol. but they've done it a lot in the past, i'm surprised it didn't happen last year with Taylor, but i think that Randy and Paula liked him too much. with Sanjaya, none of them seemed to like him at all.

I am rooting for Blake to win. I had really liked Jordan, but she does sing the same type of song all the time. Melinda has a great voice, but I don't know, I just don't care for her.

I thought Jordin was a little too yappy last night at the judges.

It doesn't really matter to me who stays and who goes. None of them excite me.

Damo is right except it was our dorky Governor who read the message from Randy and used the name Randy Johnson. Melinda was just echoing his mistake. You would probably have noticed it if you knew our Governor. I think he might have mentioned that he had never seen AI so it was kind of fitting that he messed up Randy's name.

Of the three possibilities for the finals, I would rank them in this order as far as how interesting the show would be: Jordin/Blake, Melinda/Blake, Melinda/Jordin. It's not because I find Melinda boring -- in fact, I really like her voice, but I have to admit, she didn't wow me too much last night -- I just think the competition would be fiercer between Jordin and Blake. Whoever did the best would win. With Melinda, you know she isn't going to screw up (much), so you would have to call her the frontrunner in either of the other match-ups.

That said, I think based on last night, Melinda and Blake deserve to be the final two. I really like Jordin, but only her last song was really great to me, and she sang it before.

yeah, he did. to me he sounds completely different now that he got them fixed, too. maybe it's just me. he looks better with them fixed at least! go Elliott. if i had $50,000 to spend on my teeth i'm sure they'd look that good too!
