Jordin all the way! Her voice touches me.

Of the 3, I think Jordin has the most beautiful, memorable voice and I would buy Jordin's CD and that is how I vote. To me she is the whole package.

Melinda reminds me of the Ruben. Everyone wanted him to win, he won, but where is he now?

I voted for Jordin probably 50 times before I fell asleep.

ARGH!! I can never get youtube to work on my computer...it always stops and starts again and stops and starts...etc...Darn it! I really wish I had seen this! Two of my favorite perfomers!!

Everyone (including Simon) is always calling this a "singing contest" and I don't think that's really true. The title of the show is American IDOL. There have been many, many (too many) "idols" in the music world who were not such great singers. I believe there has to be a whole package...that performance is as important as voice. Some contestants have had wonderful voices but their inability to "perform" has kept them from succeeding. Some people are wonderful performers and that alone carries them through. Blake may not have the best voice, but he is a performer (felt the same about Taylor last year). Jordin has a beautiful voice...a natural, God given talent...but I think still needs to work on the performance aspect (my opinion...her moves are too rehearsed, don't look natural). Melinda...my girl has it ALL. She is a natural performer with a beautiful voice. I would love to see her in concert AND I would buy her music. I would actually be happy with any of the top three winning...they seem like genuinely nice people and I'd be happy for any of them.

Others get drummers and guitarists. I don't see an issue with it.

And voice enhancements like Blake on his first song. He had the little echo effect going on and it's not the first time he has had it. Phil had it this year too.

I voted for Jordin a lot. I couldn't get through on her 1 and 4 numbers too much but got though on the 7 number after the first hour. Here's hopping she stays. Not sure if I can get into a Blake/Melinda final.

Yeah thats a boring final....Meinda although a great voice is just the same every week and Blake is boring in my opinion. He is way out of his league. Jordin I think is fun, lively and nice change from the other 2. Plus she is only 17 with a pwerful voice.

Reba is truly wonderful. Kelly still leaves me going She looked like a high school kid standing next to a accomplished performer in that video. JMO.

Ya know what? I *almost* forgot that Jordin's only 17! But not to worry...even though the judges didn't remind us of that fact last night, she did .

I haven't voted the last two weeks. I honestly don't really care who wins at this point. That being said, Jordin's reprise of one of her most memorable songs didn't measure up to the first, she was screeching on a lot of the notes, kinda "pitchy" (as Randy puts it).

Anybody else catch Melinda calling Randy "Randy JOHNSON"?

What was with Blake's outfit on that one song?...a blazer with a hoodie over a shirt and some kind of sweatpants? I did like it when he performed with Sir MixALot during the hometown visit.

This is going to be so close tonight. I'm kind of feeling that Jordin could go home, but it will probably be Blake, which I'm bummed about. I thought they were equally good, but I give Melinda a slight lead over the other two.

I feel that of all the contestants last night, Melinda gave the most versatile performances. She showed us more of a "soulful" side with Whitney. She "rocked" us out with Ike and Tina and then came back with a "fun" song that had garnered her rave reviews from the judges earlier in the season.

When it comes down to pure singing and performing talent, I don't think the other two come close to Melinda. Is she more marketable than Jordan? Probably not. Jordan is a sweetie with a beautiful voice and I'm hoping the final two come down to the girls.

As for the previous poster who compared Melinda to Reuban - I don't agree at all. Their voices don't begin to compare. I was never a fan of Reuban and would never purchase his music. I can see myself purchasing a CD of Melinda's - especially if she does something with the classics or on the order of Tina Turner.

As for Blake, I actually enjoyed his performances more last night than in previous weeks - because he kept the beat boxing to a minimum. He just doesn't have the voice talent of the girls and no matter what was stated by previous posts, this IS singing contest.

If we can put any trust in Dial Idol, we'll be saying "good-bye" to Blake tonight, but the difference between him and Jordan is VERY close.

I have a question about dialidol:
Their predictions this week only add up to about 84% or something. Is that the norm with them? I guess I never really noticed before whether they added up to 100%, it's just very obvious this week as they have each of the contestants at less than 30%. So are there still stats they haven't counted, or what?

All three are talented and all three will get a recording contract no matter what happens tonight and next week.

I loved Jordin' last song - gave me goosebumps.

I'm not a big fan of The Police or Roxanne but I actually enjoyed Blake singing it. I like Blake' beat-boxing and was glad that he put some in last night.

Melinda can sing but just does NOTHING for me.

I'd like to see a Jordin/Blake finale.

Could the shock of the season be Melinda going home tonight??????

Taylor couldn't dance to save his life, his singing was good but not great. I will say he was a really good performer with an interesting personality, which is what got him the prize. Unfortunately, no one is buying his CD!

Dial Idol has the three of them so close, it could be anyone. And at this point in the contest, that's the way it should be.
