In response to the spoiler songs.

I think Will is making a big mistake with his song choice. 12-year old girls aren't going to continue to vote for him if they have never heard of the song. He needs to prove that he can sing today's music - not light and airy favorites of the 60's, 70's and 80's.

Taylor's choice worries me as well. I think it's way too safe.

Gedeon's choice is pigeon holing himself into an outdated genre and he will probably be gone soon if he doesn't show some variety.

It really doesn't matter what Kevin sings at this point. I'm just ready for him to go.

I have never heard of Chris' song so I can't anticipate my reaction to it.

Okay Ace, have you lost your mind singing an unknown Michael Jackson song? I just looked it up on Amazon and listened to a clip and he'll probably do fine with it but I think there were so many other songs that he could have chosen that would win him votes.

Elliott is suprising me with his choice and I look forward to hearing it. The song doesn't suit his style so we will see if he pulls it off.

Yes they do look exciting - I just wish we knew what Bucky is singing, he's really come along the last couple of weeks, I hope he does well tonight.

Without saying too much and ruining it for those who DON'T want to know who's singing what - I figured the backup singers would probably do the female vocals but who knows.........it's one of my all-time favorite songs - can't wait to hear what Chris does with it

Well, she will be gone on Thursday along with Melissa, even though I think Melissa was better than Paris. Not many strong singers in the bunch. I'm hoping Mandisa makes it to the end along with Chris.

I'm with you on this one, Damo. Completely sick of this style. For cryin' out loud, ick something at least contemporary. He hasn't had a hit since I was a kid.

I LOVE the subject matter, but go figure???? He was my graduate thesis subject in college and he had a lifetime of hits THEN. He's a CLASSIC, and has a wide array of songs to choose from. I guess they should've picked the "Black Eyed Peas" or "N Sync"????

Idols have used his songs forEVER. Let's see if they use some sense and use the ones many people don't know like "As" or "Saturn". I'd love to see them perform those.

Geez I'm glad I turned on the TV and started flipping channels. Our TV schedule says the show starts at 8 pm (Central), but apparently it started at 7 pm . I missed the first 2 guys . It was Chris and Gedeon?

Nigel Lythgoe appeared on a show in LA this morning and said that one of the booted girls is expected and one is a shock.

Maybe the DialIdol results are accurate? Maybe Kinnik and Lisa are gone? I think this means that Melissa is safe, woohoo!
