Why does everyone hate Paris so much? Just curious. I think she's got one hell of a voice for her age. With some training I think she could be quite the pro.

Woohoo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Kat and Chris had the highest votes last night!!! I am sooooooooooooo relieved!!! And good for Simon for saying that he was wrong! Yea Kat!!!!! I'm just glad that he listened back to her performance and didn't think that it was worse!
I think that if Paris doesn't pull it together next week, then she will be gone. And Taylor better step up there too.

Not so sure about that. Look how quickly Kellie fell. If Taylor gives another weak performance he could really be in danger. Elliott has been improving every week and continues to gain momentum.

I expect a Taylor/Chris showdown too even though Katharine could be in the hunt. Elliott is a dark horse IMO.

I wonder who VFTW will pick now? None of them are bad so I can't see any of the remaining contestants being a logical "worst".

Now I don't really care who wins for the most part. I'm quite sure that the 2 I like the least will not win.

I just don't want Chris to win. He's my favorite.

I wasn't that crazy about Taylors performance either. The reason I am saying this is because he was the first group to sit. Of course he has high votes due to his fan base.

Elvis week is coming soon-- next week I think? (I don't remember a theme spoiler) I can see Taylor doing Elvis easily.

Elliott is gaining momentum, but I still don't think he will get to final two. There will be a male/male showdown I'm pretty sure.

Well I knew before the show started that Kellie and Paris would be the bottom two, but I thought it would be Paris going home.

Tonight was really weird though. Usually they do a bottom three when there are 6 people left. And they have never mentioned who the top vote getters were. Maybe there was a reason they said that?

I honestly don't think Chris and Katharine had the highest votes. They were number 2 and 4 on dial idol, and I seriously believe that Taylor had the highest amount of votes based on all of the threads I see on all different forums. I think that they're just trying to make it seem like dial idol is wrong, so when the finale comes along and Taylor doesn't win (because it really seems like Simon doesn't want him to), people will already think that dial idol results are wrong. So they won't think that the results were rigged from looking at dial idol and seeing that Taylor was way ahead of the runner up.

I really wish dial idol was around during Clay's season.

I agree that Paris has an exceptional singing voice (her speaking voice is annoying), but, IMO, she sings with no, absolutely no, emotional connection to the songs.

Lack of emotional connection to the songs they are singing seems to be a particular problem with this season's top finalists, IMO.
