OK, so far for me, Bucky, Chris and Taylor have been good. The song Chris sang IS weird so it's not surprising that some people think that it was a weird performance. The nice thing is that he didn't play it safe. Bucky sounded good and picked wisely and Taylor was his fun self.

The others... Kellie did better than I expected but still not great. Katherine doesn't do anything for me. Elliott was off. Ace was OK but he just doesn't have a strong enough voice.

Paris is left now? I doubt that I'll like her but I'll give her a chance. But so far I think that Kellie, Elliott and Katherine SHOULD be in the bottom three.

elliott! i thought he was fantastic. that IS a hard song to sing, but whenever i hear his voice, i just get a big smile on my face i love his range, i love the tone, and i love how he adds his own inflections to make the songs he sings unique versions. YEAY ELLIOTT!
now i do not like "a crazy little thing called love", but i do adore taylor. he was fantastic and fun! if i weren't so worried about elliott, i'd throw some votes his way. (not that the votes really matter )

oh man...paris is doing 'the show must go on'? i can't imagine it will be as good as in moulin rouge

I'm going to go out on a limb here, and will probably get flamed for it...but does anyone else not like Taylor?

I don't know how to put into words why I don't care for him. Maybe he's too much of a "gimmick" or something. He's always got this goofy schtick that he does with his performances, but could anyone actually see him making it as a legitimate performer?

He keeps getting by every week I think because he has a huge fan base of people that will vote for him no matter how he does.

I'd be happy with Elliot or Taylor going home this week.

But, I hate to say, it will probably be my Ace.

Smart move on Taylor's part to change his song... There's no way he could have pulled off We Are the Champions. The kicking of the mike stand was actually pretty stupid, even for Taylor. If you're going to do that, you don't miss, even if you have a reputation for being spastic. He sure did have a good time, but for such an easy song to sing, he didn't knock it out of the park like he should have.

And as long as I'm picking on Taylor (I'll stop after this)...I'm sure another contestant would have loved to do "We Are the Champions" since that is such a popular Queen song, and he kind of screwed (can I say that on the DIS?) someone else out of the chance to do it by switching at the last minute.

OK, I just listened to Bucky in the playback & what they showed was the best that I have heard him sing so far. I am NOT a Bucky fan...he slaughters some of my favorite country songs. Maybe he needs to stay away from country music?
