I have to say that although Bucky should have stayed this week and Ace should have gone home tonight, I think it would have happened anyway. I feel that Bucky and Ace are the next two out. Kelly and Elliot are next.

I can't believe he's gone. Ace should have been the one to go. Having seen him in rehearsal yesterday, he sounds so much better in person! I thought he rocked yesterday. Oh well - I hope he gets a recording contract somewhere down the line! Josh Gracin did and he's doing really well.

"well, that stinks!" That was what my DD7 announced when they said Bucky's name. I was real surprised that it wasn't Ace. I didn't think that Bucky would become the next AI, but I liked that he was a real genuine guy and I wish him well in life.

Oh well, time has shown that those who win or place high in American Idol have a tough go of it for the most part so at least Bucky has had exposure and will be free to do his own thing once the tour is over. It's easier for me because I don't have to worry about taping other shows so I can watch American Idol.

I am shocked that Ace placed higher though and also that so many people vote for Kellie. She might just end up winning this thing! I don't understand people. (And I don't believe her doing so well is due to VFTW.)

I'll check the results show but for now I'm done. Good luck to all of you who are still into this! (Well except for those who have been so vicious and you know who your are. )

I agree with you to an extent. VFTW votes are just a small portion of the votes she is receiving. But for some reason she has massive amounts of people voting for her and I don't understand why.

I can agree with that. She may be arguably the worst but why is she attracting so many votes? Don't people generally vote for the best?

I imagine that this is really causing controversy over at VFTW. How interesting to vote to keep an already popular competitor in the competition.

I had to leave to pick my daughter up at work 10 minutes before the show ended. I left right after Ace sang...he sounded better tonight. I told my 2 other dd's to call me with the results, when they didn't call I assumed it was Ace gone... (they know I feel for him) So I walk in the door and say who got booted off...they tell me Ace..and a few seconds later go, nope we totally lied it was Bucky. They actually had to convince me it was Bucky...I was 100 % sure Ace was out this week.

The girls here are glad Bucky is gone...but also sad at the smae time (at least I am) it is sad to see any of them leave at this time.


Rod Stewart...almost sounded like they would have to sing the stuff he's been doing recently, the classics...anyone get that from what Ryan said?

I so dislike the AI background singers! You sometimes have to strain to hear the contestant through the caterwauling done by these people.

That would be the fault of whoever is in charge of the sound.

Performer's mic should be louder than background singer's mic - I thought that was in Sound Management 101?

Some observations. I thought it was stupid that they used so many good songs in the medley. Some of them should have been open for the contestants to sing. Ace should have sung You're my best friend and Chris should have sung Under Pressure.

I thought Ace was going to puke through the whole thing. The contestants were really nervous tonight, except for Bucky. I felt sorry for them.
