Friday was going to be Chris Daughtry Day in Greensboro

He was coming home for the weekend to meet fans and of course his family

I was sooo shocked when they said Chris was voted off Katherine definatly should have been the one to go Now it is down to hoping Elliot gets it, sorry, I am just not a Taylor fan

I guess I'm one of the few NOT surprised that Chris is gone. He has a good voice (not great, but good) IMO, but he is BORING. I think he will do well as a lead singer of a rock band...but not as a solo performer. I would fall asleep if I had to sit through a whole concert of just Chris.

Kat didn't do well last night and probably should have been the one to go home tonight, but I think overall she has the most potential. She has ten times the personality of Chris. And yes...I can agree that she might be better suited for Broadway...but there is a boom in popularity for "standard" type singers on the pop charts (Michael Buble, Peter Cincata)...maybe she can fill the female void there. I don't think she will win, nor do I think she deserves to win. But I like her a lot...and with the likes of Tommy Motola and David Foster on her side, she will do fine.

Taylor's my man...I love him. I want to see him in concert. This is the first time I've had any desire to go see an AI concert and it's because of him. He is fun and entertaining and gracious and LOVES to sing. He makes me smile. But...here goes...I kind of would like an Elliott upset. Not because I care for his singing so much (he's got a lovely voice...just not a style I care for)...but because he WANTS it so bad. And he probably needs it more than anyone else. I think Taylor will win though. Just goes to show that people want to be entertained! It was so obvious in the group performance tonight who the entertainers were!

I have learned over the years that only people who are very insecure with themselves resort to name calling in reference to other peoples' appearances. Just had to get that out of my system.

And to those of you who are DONE with Idol. I'm sorry your favorite is gone. I'm sorry you feel betrayed. And I guess I won't see you here again...so goodbye!

Seems like Chris got a little too cocky - he acted like he absolutely didn't care on Tuesday. Now the pressure's off. Hopefully, his following has a longer memory than Constantine's...or Justin's.

I agree with you 100% - I just don't get it....
I have never liked an AI contestant as much as Chris. Mark my words - I bet Chris will be more successful than the other 3 left.
I hope he comes out with a CD as soon as he can! I will be first in line to buy it!

I am all done!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The only one I always waited to hear sing was Chris. The show from this point on is a popularity contest. I as well as my friends and family ended American Idol tonight. I could careless who wins. The only good thought is Chris will get a record deal. I agree with alot of others. He is better off without Idol.

Hey, everyone is entitled to like whomever they like. I like Kat, and I'll still like her even if she is bashed. Some people must like her if she is still there. And where were all the Chris fans who loved him so much? Why didn't they vote?

That being said, sorry guys, I'm a Kat fan. Sure, she didn't do great last night. I understand that some of you think that she should have gone instead of Chris. And I say probably so. But I'm shocked that Elliott has gotten as far as he has. I honestly like all of them, so it's hard to see any of them go. A few weeks back I thought that there might be a Kat/Chris finale. But things have just gone wacky.

I'm sure that Kat won't last past next week. Chris fans will want vengance! But I don't think that there will be any way that Elliott can beat Taylor. I say that he has this whole thing wrapped up in a neat little bow.

I honestly don't know who I would vote for if it came down to Taylor and Elliott. I think that Taylor is okay, but I'm not the biggest fan. And Elliott has a good voice, but he is not my favorite.

I think you would be making the "I'm done with Idol" speach if Taylor was booted off.
