I am done again. Every year the best singer gets voted off about this time and then I stop watching. So many crappy people end up in the finals (Ruben who can't sustain a concert...Diana, come on). That is it. I can't believe people can be so idiotic. This show will not be on again in my house this year. What are people thinking? Count me out of watching the finals.

Chris will be more than fine. We'll see him again leading some band like Fuel. He's talented and probably did himself a favor getting out now before he is hooked into whatever junk 19E would give him to record.

While I am completely floored - it does make it hurt just a little less to know that without a doubt he will be far more successful than any of the remaining three and probably more successful than the three combined. You rock Chris

Well, Chris was my least favorite of the four. He was pretty weak last night (although I will readily admit that I do think Katharine was just as bad) - weaker than normal at least.

That being said, Elliott's surge in popularity certainly signaled Chris's demise, as I'm certain Kat fans have been with her through it all (perhaps she got a few of Paris's votes).

However, what this does is set up the most anti-climactic finale. Taylor is going to win this thing hands-down. Whether Elliott joins him in the finals (which I think will be the case) or Katharine hits one (or two or three) out of the park next week (which she MUST do if she wants any shot at getting to the final two), neither of them will beat Taylor.

Obviously, I'd love to see Kat in the final two with Taylor, but I think Chris's fans will NEVER transfer their votes to her.

my thoughts on the last two nights...
i thought the three guys last night were amazing. i thought kathrine was awful, i like her and i think she's pretty but her voice to me sounds like a disgruntled cat getting stomped on. i loved elliott's first performance, loved chris's version of 'suspicious minds', and thought taylor's 'in the ghetto' was incredibly moving.
tonight, i literally jumped up and screamed with joy when i realized that the top 2 were my favorites, elliott and taylor. yeay elliott! love ya,min it!
i was shocked when kathrine outlasted chris (she was too - her jaw dropped!) and choked up while watching his video montage. for the first time in this season, i felt the loss of a true talent - while i did adore little kevin covais, chris is the first person to go who i felt truly deserved to stick around one more week, i am so disappointed that i will not get to hear him sing one more time (before leaving elliott and taylor to the finale, of course )
although i did just realize - i won't be able to watch the finale! cos i'll be in disneyworld!
i'm sure y'all feel real sorry for me...

Wow. Considering that Simon has been predicting all along that Chris would win, I would hardly say that the show is fixed.

Chris is better off without the crown but I would have preferred to see him lose in the finals.

I will miss him.

And for all those who think that Taylor is getting screwed over, how nice of him to be able to sing on Chris's elimination night.

I don't think the results tonight were fixed. Both sites that give results of the voting (whether measuring busy signals or supposedly the actual totals) had Chris as having the least amount of votes.

He probably fell victim to what hurt Constantine - too many people assumedhe was safe and didn't vote for him as much as the other people with rabid fanbases

I am stunned and shocked but relieved...I look to hear and enjoy Chris on 98 Rock!!! I think Kat is more suited for broadway/musicals....I don't really "hear" her singing Pop songs....the other two I enjoy as well....
