Taylor...YOU ROCK! YOU'RE AWESOME!! Sorry...just had to say that. I think he was definitely the best tonight. He is a true entertainer...I don't care what Simon says.

Chris...boring as usual. He has a good voice but he is SO BORING. He sometimes looks like he's in pain when he's singing.

Elliott...did very well tonight. I like the guy and I hope he does have a successful career. But I just don't enjoy his performances. I don't like his style of singing. That is just me.

Katherine. Ok...she has some tough moments...definitely. I don't know if anyone else has ever mentioned this, but she always sounds much better when they show the little clips of her rehearsing with just the piano. In fact...those are the moments when I get chills listening to her. But with the full band and the judges...it is like she tries too hard to A. sing over that LOUD band and B. please the judges. I still think she is the most naturally talented one on the show and has a bright career ahead of her. But she didn't do so well tonight (thought the first song was great but she got too tired and out of breath...second song...not so great). That all being said...she is getting all of my votes tonight because I think my other fave...Taylor...is safe without me.

I meant to ask...didn't someone else on Idol sing A Little Less Conversation in the past? I know I have heard that song before and I wasn't the Elvis version. I just can't remember where I heard it!

Just answered my own question...it was Jon Peter Lewis in season three...and I remember thinking it was a fun song and he did a really good job with it...much better than Chris did tonight I think.

I liked Taylors first song and Chris's first song - the second was okay.

I've been splitting my votes between Elliott and Chris and have yet to get through for either.

I have been doing the same - well for the last 20 mins and have got through on each ones line every time I call.

I'm going to have to rewatch tonight's episode as I'm ironing.

This used to be a show our entire family enjoyed together, but now my kids ruin it for me .

How can I watch Taylor with all the noise going on around me!?!

But, Elliot had the best performance tonight with "Trouble". I think he's been taking lessons from his roommate Taylor, the styling was similar with similar vocal "tricks". It was nice to see some emotion. I threw a vote his way, and I NEVER split votes. Well, I never used to...

Anyone that saw Rock Star:INXS last year saw JD Fortune's performance of Suspicious Minds and he rocked it out on that song (his version is in constant rotation on my iPod). Chris' version was blah....I know I'm alone on this one....

Nah, you're not alone...I was thinking the exact same thing. I really was expecting more from Chris tonight. I've also wondered how he would have fared on Rock Star INXS.
