I am happy for him. He started out slow and just got better and better.

The best part of his win.
I lurked on this thread for the most part but always enjoyed.

1. Watching Clark try to dance during the Ricky Martin segment was hilarious.
2. The New Kids on the Block segment was the best/worse thing I have ever seen in my life. They looked/sounded like the were rehearsing for a gig at six-flags (but OMG I love them so much and would totally go to six-flags to see them!!!).
3. Steven Tyler looks like Voldemort wearing a bad Roseanne wig.
4. J-Lo weirds me out with her "singing". Her singing voice sounds EXACTLY like her speaking voice, so it just sounds like fancy talking to me.
5. Harry always looks bored as hell when he has to perform with J-Lo and Keith.
6. Nick is going to fade into obscurity - hopefully he takes that haircut with him (I'm really over the Hitler-youth look).
7. Clark should just tour with Michael McDonald from now on.
8. This was the most boring finale ever.

Watching the west coast feed on some parts I missed earlier. Too busy debating on this board. Damn good show. Say what you want about AI but the finales are well produced with musical collaborations.

Loved this finale- the "new" kids on the block sure looked old LOL. Clark just looked awkward when he was onstage other than when he sang at the piano with the old bearded guy.

The New Kids are in their 40's. I guess they can tour as The New Kids for a big longer. But there's a limit. When those dudes are in their 50's they should find another gig.

Old bearded guy....is that a term of affection for Michael McDonald??

I so agree. I even waited until this afternoon to watch the finale but for the most part it was great. I'm glad Nick won. Thank you everyone for another great American Idol thread.
