Some still are thankfully. However I will say things like this will come back and bite, especially when it comes to interviews.

wow that is some change for the NY venue- going from a 18,000 capacity place to a place that hold a max of 2,800 people! Shows how the show is going downhill!

Top 6 theme is Arena Anthems

Arena Anthems sounds like an odd choice. I think of those songs as loud and uptempo something that most of these contestants are not. Quentin specializes in moody introspective songs, Joey sings jazzy songs. I can't imagine either of these singing loud and uptempo. Maybe Clark but that really doesn't seem his style. I guess if Jax can throw a weird, affected pronunciation in there it would fit her. I can see Nick or Tyanna fitting better. I hope it is at least interesting and not a train wreck.

The odd thing is that this seems to fit with Caleb's style. While he won AI singing like that, they haven't been able to turn him into any kind of commercial success. So why go there again? It just doesn't make sense.

It does, it makes me curious what songs will end up being chosen. Maybe it's their attempt to force upbeat songs, we'll see, I don't see it happening well. I'm wondering if they might try and do two different themes. They could do songs that are more of a mid tempo that could go well but hard to say. What we think is arena isn't what producers think or what the song selection is allowed. Nick is the only one I can see rocking this theme the best.

Yeahhh probably doing it to be nice. From everything I've gathered he's happy to be doing music and going to continue to do his best and see what he can do. Huge arenas may not be for most of Idol contestants but most are trying and doing what they love.
