This year they seem to allow them more access to interviews and social media. NOT GOOD. These are young kids and they don't have enough sense to know that whatEVER they say can change their lives.

I was shocked at what he said, and i do think Caleb needs to tread carefully. This is his third with a comment that's offended people. You can't go biting the hands that feed you before you're off the dang show even.

His comments will affect those people who are splitting votes between him and someone else. Not sure how much it will affect his biggest fans. The whole tone of that interview was pretty off putting though even beyond the unfortunate use of words.

Anyone who ever suggested a song to him might have their feelings hurt. You can't insult your fans, ever.

Wow..I am one who is going to take a offense at the R word being tossed around like that. As a person who grew up with a severely handicapped brother I hate the way that word is just tossed around now.

Will it change my votes? Most likely not since the last 2 weeks I haven't voted for him. He was already starting to rub me the wrong way for some reason.

I will vote based on whether or not I like a performance and his haven't wowed me recently. I appreciate his talent and there is no doubt he could front a band and put on a good show..but he will really need to wow me big time to have me vote for him now.

I think he's just rude. The R word stuff? So ugly, and really ignorant. I don't care to hear anything from him anymore. He's got hit the mute status with me now.

I always kinda thought Caleb was a little overly stuck on himself. But now I've been reminded that he IS just a teenager, thrown into this big deal, and it shouldn't surprise me that he isn't handling it the best. But boy, Caleb, you really shouldn't dis your fans (or even sound like you are). Of the ones left, I'm still liking Jena.
