Ok...I am on episode 5...the Queen Mary auditions...I am having to watch them late...anyway...My opinions so far if they mean anything...I really like Keith Urban....he seems to be very genuine and very funny...I have actually grown to like Nikki Minaj when she is serious about it...Mariah, who I have always been a fan of, I am not really caring for and I have never cared for Randy....as far as contestants no one has really stood out to me so far but its hard to remember them all..several good ones but no one that jumps out at me

So far my highlight is...Mariah's outfit on the Queen Mary...Holy Clevage batman....

I've tried to watch idol this season, I really have but the only way I am going to make it through it by DVR'ing it and fast forwarding through every time they get to nicki minaj- I just can't stand her, I couldn't stand the bickering the first few shows and now that she is actually talking- her voice is like nails on a blackboard to me!

Actually, I have to agree with you. I haven't watched all of any episode, but what I've seen, I've liked Nikki better than Mariah. When she is serious, she's giving really good input. When she's not - well I liked when she asked every good looking guy if he had a girlfriend.

And yes, I'm really liking Keith Urban. Not being a country music person (sorry, Mandy), I don't know much about him other than his wife. I'm liking him!

I like Nikki too. She seems to have a good heart and seems to care about the contestants, especially those who seem a little fragile.

Mariah I expected more from since musically she is so talented. She doesn't seem to offer much advice other than whether she likes it or not.

So far Keith is my favorite. He gives good and practical advice.

Randy is as useless as ever.

I don't know who Keith Urban is either, but he seems genuinely nice. Wish he'd speak up more, but it seems he lets the ladies dominate.

Cannot stand Nikki or Mariah. Nikki tells EVERY person they're a special snowflake! It was cute the first few times, but when every is special, nobody is special. The nicknames are really juvenile I hope they're both replaced for next season.
