Have they ever done Aerosmith week? It would be interesting to watch Steven watch them singing his songs.

Who do I think is going home? Elise

I don't think they've ever done an Aerosmith week. Would be fun, but again I'd rather they stick to broader themes - say "Detroit Rock City" week where they choose from Michigan based bands/singers. Or something else where they narrow the focus, but not to one specific artist or band.

I like Aerosmith a lot, but like most bands non-fans won't recognize very many of their songs. On a side note, back in 1990 a friend of mine bought 4 tickets to see Aerosmith & asked if I wanted 1 of them. In the car on the way down, "Dream On" came on the radio & I mentioned that we'd probably be hearing it again soon. My friend - the one who bought the Aerosmith tickets - says, "Oh, is this Aerosmith?" :facepalm:

I predict Hollie goes home, but agree with your choices of who SHOULD go.

To be fair, she's had her moments. Just not nearly as many as the judges would like us to believe.

I voted for Hollie and Skylar last night.

Jessica - She did a terrible job with Bohemian Rhapsody and I didn't think she did a good job with her second song.

I haven't really liked Joshua since the beginning.

Some weeks I like Elise and others I don't think she does so well. Last night I thought the first song was good and didn't care for the second one.

Phil Philips for me is just ok. I liked his version of Fat Bottomed Girls, it was fun, but he didn't think he did a great job with either song.

I think either Elise or Hollie will go home tonight.

I don't care for him either but I guess I would have to say I like him better than Phil- I can't wait for Phil to go-its painful hearing and watching him week after week. And I have to say now I like him EVEN less, if that was possible, after those little "tell us about the other singers" blurbs---he is just arrogant and obnoxious.
I honestly just am watching this show now going through the motions because I don't really like anyone left.....worst season ever!

Phillip doesn't really bother me but I don't think he's as good as the judges seem to think. I just remember in the auditions they had him as one of the last contestants shown and was one of those "wait until you hear this voice!" people. I thought he was going to be amazing and he just wasn't.

I am with you, just watching the show-my favorite contestant left is Hollie (I also liked Colton) and the way they praise Joshua and Jessica every week she doesn't stand a chance. This season of AI and Survivor both stink!

personally, i think she shouts too much. ladies like Mariah Carey, Celine Dion, and Whitney can/could totally belt it out, but had a smoothness about them (i'm not describing that right, but there was a difference). Jessica can belt, but so can I. that doesn't make me awesome, it just makes me loud.

and, at least for me, she lacks a compelling personality. i'm not drawn to her. in fact, i'm completely turned off by her.

because most of us think she is a brat~ which overshadows her talent. Yes, she can sing songs....but she can't *deliver* them . Now being a total Diva? Oh yeah, she has that down pat.

Same reason no one likes the teacher's pet. Of course she can sing - at this point let's hope the top 6 can. But no matter what she does, the judges find not one thing to criticize her for, ever. And poor Hollie, on the other hand, sounds nearly as good (and sometimes better), but the judges can hardly stand to praise her. I know they gave her a standing O last night after her 2nd song, but I think that's only because they realize their attack campaign had backfired.

And that BB Chez thing.....ugh!

She's boring. She picks the EXACT same type of song to sing over and over to show off her vocal abilities. We GET that she can sing...be more exciting!

I cannot speak for anyone else but I cannot stand Beyonce karaoke. I hear about 20 different women on R&B radio who sound just like her so she is NOT original or unique. I frankly see her as a wannabe and I don't wannabe her fan.

Tiptoe over to the FB page and be told over and over that Americans are racist and don't like her because she's ... get this.. BROWN. It's disgusting. They speak in Filipino and taunt and scream at Americans declaring her as the BEST. It's enough to make you just want to see her gone so the page can become civil again. It's gotten out of hand and no one on FB is stopping it. But I got reprimanding for speaking back to one particularly nasty one so I've vowed to stay away until she's gone.
