I checked youtube and he DOES act and sound like him, a LOT.

But:

Skylar= Reba and Miranda Lambert

Jessica = Beyonce and JHud

Joshua= Donnie McClurkin and Sam Cooke

They all are "in the tradition of" so to speak. Producers like what WORKS.

that WAS a DMB song. it was just a really, really odd choice. there are so many better songs to pick. he didn't have to sing one of the hit, but that was just an odd choice.

i think Phillip purposely picked a weird, slow DMB song. otherwise, he would've sounded like he was trying to sound like Dave (or what most people know of Dave).
