Thanks my Dad loved AI.....he didn't watch much t.v. but was a believer in the early seasons of the unknown being discovered. My Dad was a musician and always had a place in his heart for the struggling underdog.
He was also a WW2 vet, which is why Jessica's selfish and desperate move irked the living crap outta me

What! I didn't know he dumped your friend's daughter. I'm glad he failed as the Idol then! Though I'm glad you have that happy memory. It's amazing what you remember when you lose a parent. I just had the 7th anniversary of my mom passing and I still remember that day like it was yesterday.
