I'm not sure anyone is his type. He seems like such a Baby Huey to me. He's a mama's boy forever.

I have been lurking on your thread ... hope you don't mind me jumping in.

I always get confused when they tell one singer one thing and then the very next one gets told just the opposite. Elise didn't make it her own but then Randy didn't like the chorus BECAUSE Jermaine made it his own??!!

Welcome! I don't think we can make any sense of what the judges do. They tell people all the time to not do Whitney, then choose all Whitney songs for the girls.

Oh, he has a type, alright. There are many Adam Lambert type pics of him on the web.

Loooooved Erica Van Pelt. That was soooo good!!! She sang it like the Four Tops did, the way I loved it. Whitney didn't do that song one half as good as they did and Erica did that!!

Not bad..but I wish she would have worn the funky outfit instead of the prom dress. Just because you are singing a slow song doesn't mean you have to dress different. I think she'd be more comfortable dressed down.

I thought she started out a bit too low..but she got better as she went on.

I just listen to the performances. Simon USED to say what I thought, now there is no one on the panel that represents what I'm thinking, not one.

I also miss Simon. I think Jimmy needs to be on the judges panel because he's the only one that gets honest. Though I hated Jimmy last year, this year the other judges have become too nice.

Liked Erica. I'm loving Colton.

Joshua and Colton are a tie for me...and I like Elise, a lot, but man, Erika...niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice. She really looks to me, like she just loves being up on stage, in total control.

I'm not a Colton fan but I really liked that. He is an entertainer, though, love his comfort on the stage.

I love that song and it's very hard to sing. He did an excellent job!
