It's tough, but w/ a baby on the way and in this economy...I don't know. I was unemployed for just three months this summer and it was ROUGH. Do they even get paid while they are going through the process?

I think it was stupid move, but sounds like his wife supported him.

I know I would not be doing that. If my DH would have wanted to do that way back then he would have been told what he could do with that idea. Heck, he'd be told what he could do with it now! And I'm sure he'd be the exact same with me, especially since I say at least once a week how I want to quit and stay home and all he does is glare at me.
