That's central time so it's 8 eastern. I didn't catch the central part at first either and thought such a weird time, 7.

I wonder why this is so upsetting, she certainly isnt the first kid of a star that auditioned for Idol (not that I can remember the others....I know there have been kids of athletes - like Jordan Sparks) Oh I know it was an Osmond - he tanked due to laryngitis - but he got the same treatment as Jim Carrey's kid -

I think its a win-win - a bit of a ratings draw, a bit of a hit in the media and message boards to get people to watch -

that's life, its all about who you know or how much money you have - at least to get your foot in the door!
