Last night, our local Fox station played a tape of some interviews after the San Diego auditions. There was a guy they talked to the looked an awful lot like Alex Wong (a well-loved contestant from So You Think You Can Dance). I looked at the AI website, and yes, there is a still shot of a contestant named Alex Wong on crutches. (He tore his achilles tendon this past summer.) I wonder why he didn't show up in the show? Nigel absolutely loves him!

I know, right? I knew Steven Tyler was performing the National Anthem for the playoffs..but that is the only Idol-ish tv I knew to watch. DS would have loved that it was on an aircraft carrier as well. See, this is what I get for recording shows and FF thru stuff...I didn't watch the part that said next show was Sunday.

Just caught up on last nights show. I thought Jim Carey's daughter did well, though she needs more personality if she's going to go far. I loved Wolf, not my favorite type of music, but he sounded great and had a fun personality. I think the girl from Ellen is just there to be the crazy contestant of the year. She won't go far.

I was just catching up on back issues of People and Us and saw that James Durbin got married. Stefano was his best man and guests that were there included Casey and Hailey. I wonder if they are still a couple? (even though they never admitted to being a couple LOL)

I recorded it and just finished watching it. Definitely wanted to watch it as a friend of mine served on the USS Midway when he was in the Navy during the Gulf War.

I loved the girl who brought her daughter and sang I Will Always Love you. Goosebumps!

I REALLY like that they are focusing more on the ones who can sing and not the train wrecks.

I agree. I think Daddy's star power got her thru. She wasn't bad, just not really good enough.
