I didn't know you signed up for Worst Cooks! That would have been so cool if you made it. I love that show. :happytv:

It was fun. Unfortunately, the 6 weeks they needed me to be in NY were right as my aunt was put in hospice and I had to take over the care of my uncle who has dementia. :guilty:

She passed away while the show was taping. She was more like my sister than my aunt and I'm still missing her. :sad1: I still take care of my uncle, the youngest of 14 children and my Dad was the oldest. He is a pleasure to have around, it was worth everything I passed up.

The company sends me opportunities for new reality shows... but i don't think I'll fit on the American Handyman!!

what I find odd is I read they are having him perform, then they are kicking him off the show tonight! that seems like an odd way to do it!

He didn't come clean about his past

this pretty much explains his sweating so much.....I mean, he had to know it would all come out eventually. Even without the story breaking, I think he was in trouble after acting a little full of himself last week~ when he gave a victory shout interupting Ryan~ that kind of stuff does not go over well with the show. Jeremy is probably waiting by his phone for JLo to call saying that he can come back and has been saved a record amount of times on Idol.

From Yahoo.com:

Of course, the crafty conspiracy theorist in me wonders if this was a ratings ploy all along: You know, bring Jermaine back for the semifinals to create some drama and buzz, then create even more drama and buzz later on, when his criminal-past bombshell leads to his "shocking" disqualification. I just find it a little hard to believe that "Idol's" staff would not have been able to uncover Jermaine's (very recent) alleged crimes via a standard background check, and it seems fishy that the one contestant that was given a last-minute reprieve is now the one getting the boot. Is it possible that by bringing back a contestant who was already set up for an early disqualification, the show's producers had sneakily hoped to generate headlines and boost "Idol's" flagging ratings, without jeopardizing any actual worthy contestants' future chances? We'll never know.

But if so, then I beg to differ on that last point: Bringing Jermaine back to the show and playing up his public-vote-garnering sob story just may have stolen a legitimate spot in the top 13 from one of the show's other promising male semifinalists who could have gone farther, like Reed Grimm, Creighton Fraker, or Aaron Marcellus (or any other bonus contestant the judges could have elected to reinstate, such as David Leathers Jr.). While Jermaine's short "Idol" stint may have made for some good television--and Wednesday night's show will be dramatic indeed--it may have negatively altered Season 11's outcome in the long run.

Now it remains to be seen how, in the short run, Jermaine's dishonorable discharge will alter this week's results. Will there be no elimination this Thursday? Will a previous castoff be brought back to replace Jermaine--and if so, who will that be? I am certainly interested to find out, so perhaps "American Idol's" masterminds will get what they probably wanted all along, in the form of a big ratings spike this week.

I'm not buying that this wasn't a setup. Rental agencies would've found his warrants and AI couldn't??? :rolleyes1

Here's hoping for a good show tonight.

I could do without the drama crap though...boot him off and just announce it like every other time it's happened in the past.

Ryan..it's no big secret who is going, don't make it seem like it is.

They are seriously having him perform then kicking him off? That's really stupid.

Loved Phillip, love Hard to Handle-great job PP! and I am a big Miami Sound machine fan...not liking Jessicas version-but Gloria Estefan owns that song. At least she went with something upbeat. I agree w/Steven...JLo, way to use words from the song to describe Jessica's performance :rotfl:
DS needs the computer so I will chat later with you all!

I liked Philip.

Glad Jessica pumped it up and did not sing a ballad.

I didn't care for Jessica tonight. I think she tried a little to hard to perform and those heels?!?!?! I don't think she could keep up with the beat in them and had to concentrate to hard. Lol

Liked Phillip too.

Jessica did fine. Not sure why they think she should only sing ballads..... :confused3

I do not enjoy Heejun's singing at all, I don't think he should have even made it into the top 13. Sense of humor aside, I just really don't like his voice.
