They keep changing their minds about what they want to do with the wildcards. I thought the wildcards were going to be announced on Thursday along with the 10 who got the highest votes. And now it dropped from 3 to 2? I wonder if they'll ever make up their minds.



Uggh, that really makes me mad. The poor kid has been made fun of his whole life (which is why I've been rooting for him since his audition), and this surely doesn't help. I was picked on a lot when I was younger too and I can definitely say this wouldn't exactly help my self esteem.

I really hope he doesn't see this and think everyone is laughing at him. He's definitely awkward on stage, but he's still a good singer. No way is he the worst.

Agreed but ANYONE who chooses to be in the world's vision had better get used to it. Being picked on in school is a completely different ballgame than putting your face out for millions of people to make a decision about it. This is American Idol, where people criticize you, break you down, vote or don't vote for you. It's not an easy world.

He's good and he's tough, but you need to be more than tough in show business. It's horrendous out there!

I was really surprised by my 11 year old son's pick for the best of the night... Jacob! He wanted me to call for him until I got sleepy. I really liked him, too. It just surprised me that my kid did.

I had to throw a few votes to Scotty last night. Not a big country music fan, but he's our local guy. He worked as a bag boy at the grocery store where my friend shops. She said he's a really sweet kid.

James and Casey were high points for me. Paul, Scotty and Jacob were delightful. As long as those guys are through to the top 12 I am good to go.

Those are the 5 I voted for!

I think Jacob was my favorite, followed by Paul, Scotty, Casey and James (in that order). I really hope they all get thru. AND, I'm hoping Brett gets the wild card.

Ok, I love Paul , but his mannerisms when he sings......... they are reminding me of someone, just can't put my finger on it.........steve martin, jim carrey, some comedian but I don't know.
but I love his voice and his quirkiness.

His moves remind me a bit of Joe Cocker.
