There is an acapella group in our area that has a bass that has a voice like Scotty's-very, very deep. Their group has written a couple songs to feature his voice. It would be great if Scotty could get a hold of one of those songs.

Looks like Top 13 will be taped...

A source tells AI Now that the Top 13 performance show, which will air on Wednesday (8-10 pm ET), is being pre-taped. Last week's Semi-Final performances were taped in advance, but it was believed that the Top 13 would perform live this week.

The source says the performances are being taped on Tuesday.
It is still expected that the results will be broadcast live on Thursday (8-9pm ET) on Fox.

I never understood why the performance show was live. It couldn't be live on the West coast, so why bother having it live at all? It just ends up making things more rushed at the end when they're running long (while a taped show can be edited, taking out fluff in the middle if the end runs long).

Good God NO, my son is 18 that guy is in his 40s!!!

My son gave up instruments for his real instrument, his voice. He's sings like an angel... and btw, HATES American Idol!!

May I just say that I LOOOVVVVE the guys this year? Some more than others and I'm calling Paul McD as the winner here and now. But I do indeed love them all.

I generally don't like girl singers at all. Very, very few on my IPod. So when an AI season is stashed with talented guys, I get all beside myself. As a non-Lambert fan, I'm gonna say it's been awhile for me!

Just living for Tuesday nights!

BTW, I really DO love Paul and think he could be a dark horse to take the whole thing but he'll need to be super wise about song choice and just "knock it out da park" every time if he wants to beat Lauren and Casey.

And I still have a soft spot for James. I don't know if he will make it to the top 5, but unless he really pulls out something as unexpected and fun as Judas Priest every night. And Scotty is just so adorable. I hope he makes it to the tour (top 10) and then gets booted so he can head to Nashville for a VERY lucrative Country career.

He did make it didn't he??? On second thought, I did actually miss the results show. I cheated and went right to americanidol.com. I hate the results shows.

I just think Paul is so current. And yea, Scotty is amazing for that kind of music. Oh and Jacob....just love em all!

I selfishly wish that both Casey and Paul would sing "I'm Feelin' Alright" by Joe Cocker...mostly Casey 'cause I know he'd blues it up a bit...be more creative, but it would be fun to hear Paul...and since he kinda moves like Joe Cocker anyways.....

OKay, I must admit I do not watch American Idol each week. Mostly because my Dh hogs the TV and does not like American Idol. What night is it on? Is it Wednesday and Thursday? Tuesday and Wednesday? Do they perform one night and get picked the next or what?
I really like Stefano and I also like the guy that sings the country music too, and I hate country music! He has such a deep sexy voice and he's like a teenager - does that make me a dirty old lady? I haven't seen the girls at all - guess I should try to catch up on youtube or something.

Speaking of Paul, I love following him on Twitter. I follow all of them on Twitter but he seems to be the most down to Earth and interactive. And he's pretty funny. He was talking about rockin a perm for this week's show.
