American Idol-Possible Spoiler

Yeah, Pooh, you may be right. I don't think she fits into what we've been told to be the American Idol image. However, I recall on the final epi last year with Kelly Clarkson in jeans, that she was much more REAL looking (from the back side) than the "idols" Hollywood has been giving us. It was thrilling to see a normal sized, fully clothed woman getting the attention her talent earned her.

Unfortunately, Frenchie may actually be too over the top with the flourescent hair and pink glittery eye shadow. That's why I'd like to see her done up in a sophisticated Aretha Franklin type look. If you look at her pic on www.idolonfox.com (ok, NOW I know the right names! lol!) she really IS a very pretty lady.

I even said to my DH last night that maybe Kimberly (her partner in the duet) would be the winner since she too can really sing and, while larger than some of the others, very attractive. She has an elegant, mature air to her.

Only time will tell...

If enough screaming teenage girls stay away from the phone lines (hey, it could happen!), then Frenchie, Reuben and Kimberley stand a chance, because they are very talented. Biker-dude is also pretty good, but I think someone like Bettis could knock him out in the phone vote. But those are my top 4, for what it's worth.

Julia and Kim may cancel each other out, because of the b****-fest going on between them.

Corey got into the finals on suck-up value alone, since his performance after being out partying just wasn't that great...he got a freebie pass last night, IMHO. Marcus was annoying - glad he's gone.

The 16 year old did get the boot. She is from Circleville Ohio.
My husband had not seen the local news the day before the show.
She was on and is so cute.
He kept asking, "does she make it?" I kept telling him no, but he was not listening. He was a bit disappointed. He thought she had a great voice.

Personally, I like Frenchie. She has a great voice. Unfortunately, I am like most of you. I don't think she'll make it to the end.

Maybe someone else will see her and send her to Broadway!

I love this show! I think that Julia did awsome. Frenchie has a great voice but made for Broadway. As you watch people get better and better and the one you thought would win gets worse. It is to early to tell.

Glad your DH liked her, I did, too. My sister and I laughed because she looks exactly like she could be in our family! And I'm just as loud!

I like Julia, Kimberly, Frenchie and Bettis! I think they are all really good singers! I do hope Julia makes it far, she has a great voice!

There are several who are really so incredibly good. Its almost a shame that only one can win!
