American Idol, last night's winners, wild card round, etc.

I looked, but couldn't find another AI thread this morning. Sorry if this is a duplicate.

I was not surprised with the results, but was surprised and disappointed with the whole wild card round thing. Although I think Chip deserved to be in the wild card round, I also thought Patrick should have been - particularly since America voted him as #3 for that round. Certainly NOT the other girl - Nasheka(?)

I read this morning that, of the wild card contestants, they will choose 4 people to advance, so it will be a "top 12," not a "top 10." I missed when they introduced the first people in the wild card round - who weren't part of the top 32. Was there any explanation?

I WAS very glad to see Clay Aiken included!

As to the twist, my first reaction was - will they bring Frenchie back? I doubt it, since she would obviously blow the rest of the competition away, but you never know.

I was REALLY disappointed with the wildcard thing! I mean......I did not think anyone from group 4 would make it! there were too many others better in other groups....
I was really upset that Hadas did not make the wildcard. Especially since Simon had told her she was better than some of the people in last years top ten.....hmmmm........

And I did NOT like the idea of bringing back people who did not make the top 32.....oh well...


Good for Joshua.....glad he made the top ten!

I am glad that Josh and Corey will advance to the next round--Josh especially since he seems like a really great guy. I am thrilled that Clay is a wildcard--his voice is amazing IMO! He's my favorite contestant.

My DD was SO GLAD that Kimberly (blonde) made it to the wild card. She was so disappointed that she didn't make it in Round 1. (Frankly, I don't think she was all that good, but DD did).

I am glad that Corey & Joshua made it last night and I'm glad that Clay was picked as a wild card. When they were announcing the wild cards, I was thinking it was going to be all girls, until they finally said Clay and Chip.

I was glad Chip was chosen as a wildcard. I thought he was better than Corey, and he seems like a nice guy. I'm glad Patrick didn't make it - he gets on my nerves. I also wonder if that girl who reamed out Simon on Tues. night (what's her name again?) realized how obnoxious she had been. She made a fool of herself, IMHO.

I was glad that Clay and Trenyce made the wild card.

When they announced the wild card winners and showed those that they were bringing back, I was hoping that that long haired red headed girl that was in the special last week would have been included. She was one of the ones that Paula said that they should have kept. She wasn't sent on to California to try out for the group of 32. Simon liked her voice but told her that she needed to lose weight. This was before they began to realize that the auditioners with the best voices didn't necessarily fit the image. Does anyone remember her?

I'm glad to see Clay and Kimberley back too.

I felt really bad for Patrick though. They just put him through an emotional wringer last night. First, he was almost in the top two but not quite, then he could've been the wild card but he wasn't, and then there was a second wildcard -- and it still wasn't him! Even though he wasn't very good on Tuesday, I still would've liked to see him go through to the Wild Card Show since he did finish third on the popular vote.
