I voted: a show I could take or leave.
I never watched it prior to this year. But we started watching it this year because we knew one of the contestants. He was voted off two weeks ago, but now that I started watching I figure I'll stick around to see what happens. Wouldn't be a big deal if I missed a week though.
I'd like it a lot more if I didn't feel the need to mute the sound every time Paula comes on. OMG, someone get her into rehab and off my TV screen. Randy is qualified to judge. Simon is qualified to judge. IMO the slurred ramblings of an ex-cheerleader who cut a couple of bad singles and is now looped up on pain killers just is not needed.
Such a shame Patti LaBelle wouldn't take the gig. AI would have been GREAT with her on it.
I have never watched it once. I just am not interested! Survivor or Amazing Race however....those are FINE ways of killing Tuesday and Thursday nights! I didn't vote bay TV; I just voted overhyped.
I made the poll. I vited the Tuesday or Wednesday night option. I think it is the MOST FUN show on TV, but not the BEST show on TV.
Best show for me is The Shield or 24.
EDIT, BTW, AI is up 12% in the ratings this year..... THAT IS HUGE. Plus they have a deal signed keeping the show on the air through 2009, and 2010 is an option year.
Call me an old fart, but I miss the old days of musical variety shows. Donny and Marie...Solid Gold....dang, brain freeze, there used to be a lot. This is pretty much all we have now, isn't it?
