Apparently. And they are SCARY and old. And probably missing many, many teeth. They hang out at truck stops and other such places. The one we saw was just walking around. We saw her flag down a truck driver. It was pretty awesome. She wasn't dressed like Kimberly Caldwell or anything like that. She was just dressed kind of like....white trash...haha.

Off topic (of course....)

Just like every Saturday...we went over to our house. We have carpet and appliances now (and exciting stuff like toilets...haha.)

I'm bored so I'm going to share some photos.

Kitchen...and you can see the carpet in the family room.

New appliances! WOOHOO!

Here you can see the kitchen floor and our new carpet.....

These are the stairs to the basement. The basement has different carpet than the main level and upper level.....(FYI: There is a door at the top of the stairs.)

This is the hallway and loft space on the upper level. I love it!

The walls look sort of yellow-ish in some of the pictures...but the color in THIS picture is more accurate....

I am so old....today I was super excited about the new vacuum we bought. It only weighs 8 pounds! YAY! I love it.

So according to an article in US magazine, DC and KC have been an item for awhile, even while he was stating he was single on the show (well, he is single, he's not married to her). SOURCES state they met early on during the season and his asking her out was their way of coming out in the open.

Funny then that in People, one of the questions he was asked was if he would go out with the person that called in during Idol and asked him out, his response was "if she had the guts to call him and ask again sure he would"

Hey! Those were GIFTS from my Aunt. But I do love having different towels for each season/holiday.

Well, THAT was NOT fun.

The past hour =

We had some rain, thunder, and lightning earlier today. But it didn't look like anything serious was going to happen. My hubby and I were watching a movie I had DVRed. It got over around 2:30am or so. We were saying, "Well, I guess the bad weather is over." And right as we were talking about it, the weather radio went off. Thunderstorm Warning. What? It seemed quiet outside. I checked the radar and saw a storm getting close. My husband went to stand on the balcony for a few minutes. I told him to come in before the storm gets close.

I went back inside just to hear the weather radio beeping again. Tornado warning!! I ran and told my husband to come inside and get dressed (we were in our pajamas.) Then the sirens started going off. I grabbed my cell phone and a flashlight and went down to the first floor. But it didn't really seem safe. I went back up and turned on the t.v. to see exactly where the storm was. It was in Omaha so maybe 10 minutes from us.

We called my Dad...he hadn't even heard the sirens. We jumped in the car and went to his house so we could go in his basement. We watched the news and they kept showing that it was pretty close to us. But we lucked out and it went just north of us.

So far it sounds like there was some damage in Millard (a nearby city.) We didn't see anything bad near us. I don't think we got very bad wind or anything. I'm thankful for that. I HATE storms like this....especially when they occur at 3am. I am super tired. My allergies were bad so I had taken a benedryl...and it's making me super drowsy.

There's another storm about to hit us. but it looks like just some rain, thunder and lightning. I think I better get off the computer now.

Me too! I have all kinds of fingertip towels for the bathrooms. Funny thing, my DH just put out the Christmas ones. All he did was look at the color not the design. They have gold doves on them with some holly trim underneath. He said they just look like towels to him.

Just think pretty soon you will have your own basement. At least then you won't have to change out of jammies in the middle of the night.

I'm alive, I'll be home early tonight. I got home at 2 and was up at umm 6:30 so I'm dead exhausted. I'm doing the motorcycle event then going to stay long enough at LP probably for Chuck but if Miley is the surprise guest my butt is out of there. My poor ears can't take it.

Can you plug your ears and take a pic of Miley for my DD before you run, pretty please? Are they now trying to market Miley as a country artist too? I doubt her legions of tween fans will go for that. I know my DD hated her song she did with her dad. It wasn't "rock" (aka pop) enough for her.

Does anyone watch The Soup on E!?

Last week DC was on there a little. They showed a clip where Cook was asking Ryan Seacrest to say "Chicks Man." (Which only makes sense if you watch The Soup.)

Anyway...this week....before the "chicks man" section of the show...instead of Seacrest or the regular voice....it was David saying "Chicks man."
