I agree...there's something really weird there. Sundance was hands down better.

Kept Haley and got rid of Sabrina Just some weird voting going on.

Except for Antonella(so happy to see her go ) I was shocked at last nights votes! It's pretty funny when even the contestants are shocked to be staying. Sanjaya and Haley both thought they were going home...just don't get it. I wish they wouldn't have a set amount of males/females going into the final 12 and just send the best 12. There are males that are far worse singers than Sabrina (Phil) and they are still there Just don't get it sometimes!!!

I'll write more from work tomorrow but overall I wasn't thrilled. Alot of them forgot some of the words which is inexcusable to be at this stage of the game. The same girls did good and the boys not so much. The guys tried to mix it up to be more contemporary which the judges hated but I kindof liked. I enjoyed Chris S and Blake with their versions. I think having them all sing Diana Ross was hard for the guys so they came up with something that worked for them.

Even with the ones I liked all the performances were pretty bland. No one did anything WOWing on the stage. Well unless you count Sanjayas hair and earrings. What was that boy thinking?

I guess I will stick with Melinda and LaKisha as the top two.

I can't believe they didn't even have time for a final song.

He is the one "votefortheworst.com" was pushing for this week. I wonder if that had something to do with it...

I think the bottom 3 was pretty good yesterday. I can see why they were all there. I wish it had been Sanjaya going home but I'll take second to last sicne I think Brandon needed to go too. The boy could sing but as an ex-backupsinger he knows better then to forget his words.

As much as I hate to say it and how I complained about a whole hour being so dragged out the show was really rushed last night with only half an hour. Hmm wonder if we could go for 45 minutes or something.

I think the group sing was pretty good last night. They all sang together well.

Did I miss it or did Ryan not tell us next weeks theme? I wonder what torture we will have to endear.

I didn't catch a theme for next week either but I didn't pay a whole lot of attention to the show last night. I thought the bottom three was accurate except Haley was really bad on Tues. My hope was to see Sanjaya go home, taking his hair with him.

Loved the British Invasion theme. My top three Jordin, Blake, & Melinda (just give her a contract). Send Sanjaya home, please!

Disappointed in Stephanie & Lakisha though.

Melinda in the final spot again? What's with that? She really is good... consistant every time. I can't believe that she had to come on idol to be noticed, haven't others heard her when she was singing backup before?

The rest of the night is so unmemorable. I was very disappointed in LaKisha, didn't do anything for me. Sanjy needs to leave...please, put us out of our misery!!

My DH (not a fan, I just got to the TV first last night) had his favorite...

Me- Wow, when she turns around, she looks naked from the back...

DH- Oh really? I hadn't noticed... (insert evil snicker)

Me- Oh brother...

DH- (the whole rest of the show) None of them are as good as that first one...

Sorry to say that Sanjaya will not be going home anytime soon. Howard Stern has all of his loyal listeners voting for him. I doubt he will even be in the bottom three tonight!

I loved Melinda and the rest were good, not great!

You Really Got Me is one of my favorite songs. It was painful to watch Sanjaya perform it.

As always, I really liked Blake. The songs the 'big three' sang (Melinda, Lakisha, and Jordin) just didn't do it for me. When I heard British Invasion I was hoping for more high energy songs. I thought the Stones song would be good for Gina but she disappointed me.

Side note - I saw Peter Noone and Herman's Hermits perform at Epcot once during the Flower and Garden Festival. They were fantastic! I thought I'd stop for a few minutes and watch and then move on, but I stayed for the whole thing and he had the whole crowd (all ages) on their feet dancing!

Don't forget he's been "approved" by the Vote for the Worst website and Howard Stern is encouraging his listeners to vote for him. They must outnumber those people who are actually interested in musical ability.

And Stephanie had a lot of potential - 1 not so good night and she's out. Even though I didn't see her as winning or as having the most talent, she should have been in the top 10.
