American Horror Story - Season 6, Anyone?

Wow. I don't know how everyone else feels, but that was hands down the worst ending to a season of AHS. There was so much promise this season. Teases of mind blowing twists. A "hat on a hat on a hat"....What we got was a terrible story with a worse ending. No twists. No explanations. No tying of loose ends. They didn't even try. The only real horror I experienced is when I realized I had watched the whole season.
Ditto. Now I'm sad because I can't get those 10 hours or so back. :sad2:

I finished all my housework and I'm just waiting for the furnace guy to come. I have nothing to do so I'm about to watch it. I made it this far I as might was well LOL

I taped it and will watch it tonight -- but did go ahead and read the finale review. All I can say is UGH -- what a lazy crap out ending (I think). Sounds like the crap they tried to hand fans as Lost was ending.

I personally think that the creator/writer did a disservice to loyal followers and just didn't know how to end it.

I liked the first half of the season but thought the second half was pretty boring. Glad it's finally over. Not a very good season, but I did finish it. Didn't watch past the second episode of last season.

Jeez, and I thought Hotel was bad. This season was dreadful, just dreadful. I don't know what made them go in this direction, but...no. Glad it's over.

People are praising it for always "leaving them guessing" as to what would happen next. I think the reason for all of the theories and guessing, is that there wasn't anything happening. So everyone, including myself, was thinking that there had to be something more than what we were seeing. And in the end, we were all wrong. It was just a reenactment followed by the real life reenactment, followed by nothing. So terrible. I think it was better than hotel, which is like saying dirt tastes better than dog poo.... :)

OMG -- I never thought I would say it, but I DO think it was worse than Hotel. I finally watched it last night and even after reading the article, was unprepared for how absolutely repetitive and stupid it was. And the thing that occurred to me too was 98% of this series was in the dark -- dark house, dark outside, dark passageways. The only place that had more light was the Polk's basement because of the plant lighting! At least hotel had colors and decor and LIGHTS! I spent most of this season squinting or rewinding to figure out what I was looking at. It was a very painful season for many reasons -- most of which you ended up with nothing in the end. How is anyone supposed to buy that that many people died in and around that house and property and more wasn't done to keep it from thrill seekers. I would think they would have demolished the house and salted the ground for goodness sake.

BTW, I thought sure the little actor that came back with the ghost chasers was gutted in one of the episodes. I know he was an actor, but I thought he actually got attacked by the real ghosts and was gutted. Obviously I was wrong.

To the creator -- shame on you for promising more and flat lining. What a waste of all that great talent.

I actually thought Sarah Paulson was impersonating Jessica Lange . Her Lana Winters seemed to be Jessica to me. LOL. Even the same hair style.

Her "old" voice as Lana Winters is so terrible it was comical. I couldn't stop laughing every time she spoke. Her british accent, if that was what it was, was also terrible. Please do not have her do any voice impressions next year. Please.

This same character was in the Asylum series. Jessica Lange was also in that series. I didn't like this character then either!

I didn't really think about it, but you are right. Usually AHS if nothing else, can be visually entertaining. This season was a bunch of cell phone videos in the woods at night. Why did they think that was a good idea? I can just picture the pitch.....Let's do a season with cell phone videos, at night, in the woods. That way no one can even tell if it sucks or not.......

Just finished it. Blech! I actually liked the end of Hotel, this was just terrible. Were we supposed to care about Lee
and Flora and be moved by this? What a waste of a season and a waste of a lot of good talent. And I hope no one was going to watch Asylum after, since they gave away a big plot point.

I'm watching now, and I'm just not "getting" any of this. I am half way through, and at this point, I wish I could get back the 9.5 hrs I spent watching this. :sad2:

So true -- but I guess they figure people have already watched Asylum.

Let's see what you think about the wasted time when you get to the finale ;)

I was watching the finale! Lol. Horrible. Where's a thumbs down emoji when you need it?

Oh sorry -- misread. I thought you meant you were half way through the series. UGH -- I got ya, we need a big thumbs down!
