I got an e-mail that I've recieved an American Greetings Instagreet card and a link to view the card. My concern is they ask for your AOL screenname and password to access. Is this legitimate or a scam?? Obviously I didn't enter my info, but I'm curious.

This is the e-mail

"Somebody obviously thinks you are very special -- You have just been sent an American Greetings InstaGreet card! To pick up your card Click Here Remember -- you only have 48 hours to pick up your card!

AOL 9.0 Members click in the top right of the messageShow & Enable Hyperlinks to see the greeting."

The page looks very legitimate with the AOL anywhere logo, but I'm such a skeptic!

I know I receive that email from time to time (I have a fairly unused account on AOL). I think it may be a scam-- the subject line usually includes a couple of random letters/numbers and friend/family use my hotmail address to reach me.

I don't know about American Greeting, but I'm pretty sure Hallmark says, "Jane Doe has sent you a greeting card." You're right to be skeptical.
