Actually, about the salon, at the store. Possibly a stupid question

Is it for the dolls, or the girls?

What do they do?

It's for the dolls. You pay $10-$20 and a professional will style your doll's hair in whichever style you choose from a list, everything from a simple ponytail to more complicated braids. It's really fun to watch them work miracles on well-loved doll hair.

For the dolls. We were at the store in NY 3 years ago. My DD got to pick a hair style for her doll and the stylists will help suggest styles that work well with that doll's hair. If I remember correctly, there were quite a few styles to choose from for each hair type and length. They'll let you know what time the doll will be ready. They did a great job on the hair, all the frizzies were gone and it held the style for a long time.

Keep in mind... depending on how many dolls they have to do and when you get there, the wait can be long. We had luncheon reservations in the restaurant and the dolls (her bf was with us and had her doll's hair done too) were almost not done in time. I would get in line for the salon first thing and if you have ressies for the restaurant, let them know that too.

Both girls dolls are brand new, so we don't really need them done yet.

Youngest DD, just bought one from Ebay- It hasn't been delivered yet, and we leave tommorrow. If it comes, w/ bad hair. We may need the salon.

I'm only giving each DD $50 to spend at the store. I doubt they will want to spend the $$ on the salon.

We paid $20 to have Josefina's hair restored to its original braid. It was cute to watch but pricey!

The salon can really work miracles for dolls with really bad hair!!

We've seen a few of these miracles performed for other people on several visits at the store!
