American Girl doll questions

OK not to budget related, but I know that alot of you AG doll moms hang out on this board.

Anyone have an idea on who/what the girl of the year for 2010 will be?????

Her name is Laine. She is rumored to be African American because the author of her book is Jane Kurtz, who primarily writes books about African American children.

Fueling that rumor was a theory that Chrissa's friend Sonali was a test to see if an AA doll of the year would sell well. The folks I know are excitedly waiting to see what she looks like and hoping she'll have a friend in case their DDs don't take to her. Personally, I'd rather have more limited edition/DOTY outfits/furniture/access than more "friends" we don't need for a doll of the year but I can see it from both perspectives.
