American Girl experts-If something is on backorder until July, does that mean even the actual stores won't have it either? Or is there a chance I could get it in Chicago. This will be my first foray into the AG world...so not really sure how it works.

I don't know--but I'm interested to find out. Don't forget the QVC sale is coming. Last year they sold AG dolls on July 25 (Christmas in July). Don't know the date yet this year, but I'll post when they do. Hoping to pick up Lanie!!!

In my case, it was sold out at the store as well. My BIL tried to buy the metal glasses in Dallas and they were sold out.

LOTS of things are "sold out" with AG lately.
