American Blinds

Hi Everyone:
We are in the process of redoing our bedroom. I was thinking of ordering blinds through them, but wondered if anyone could give me feedback about them. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

I just ordered blinds from them today actually. Have heard very good things about them from other online boards. Their price was nearly 50% cheaper than the place I normally use in town (for the exact Hunter Douglas blinds).

We used them when we built our house. We had good luck with them. They replaced 2 blinds that were a little crooked, no questions asked.

I ordered a rather long honeycomb type shade for my bay window. When it arrived, it was slightly damaged. I called them and they replaced it immediately and didn't even want the other one back. That remind's me, it's up in my attic somewhere.

I've never used them but just ordered from blinds.com and we were very happy with them. I checked prices with American Blind but blinds.com beat them by far on our order. Two EXTRA long blinds for our living room windows that are floor to ceiling.

Got my order from them today. (4 days after placing order.) There was a slight problem. I ordered cordless blinds and one window came with cords. Called them and was told that they made a mistake...the manufacturer said they can't do cordless blinds on the window I ordered (it's a very wide window). That was contrary to what I was told when I ordered. I guess I'm okay with it (really have no choice). American Blinds admitted it was their mistake and they are refunding me the difference (for the cordless option which cost more).

I'd use them again. Blinds look good.

anyone else get spooked out by the guy who does the ads? his eyes are so wide open it looks like he's either had a bad brow lift or is 'tweaking' on something.
