American Beauty???

I realize I'm really behind on my movie viewing, but I just watched "American Beauty" for the first time - and now I'm wondering why. IMHO, it was not the amazing movie it was all cracked up to be. In fact, I thought it moved pretty slow. Anyone else not like this one?

I didn't enjoy it that much either.

The ones that I really have liked lately have been,

Sweet Home Alabama and Kate and Leopold.

We just watched One Hour Photo last night and I liked it. DH was bummed that it wasn't scarier. But American Beauty - I don't know, I think it was overrated.

DH and I watched it years ago and both hated it. It was the worst movie I ever saw.

I thought Ab was awesome. I dont know why but it was captivating and well done from all sides~ Acting writing etc...
