american airlines cheap flights in september

Considering the high prices of all flights both direct and indirect I was suprised when I looked on AA website tonight to find a one stop flight (chicago) from manchester to orlando for £1162.47. Dates were going the 16th september till the 2nd october. Very good price for 2 adults and a child I thought. Going the 17th,18th were £1203.
Flight times were
man-0955 arr chicago-12.40
dep chicago-1525 Arr MCO 1900
Return flights are similar time span of 14 odd hours.
always flown direct and the plane is a 757.Looked on seat guru and most of these do not have seat back tv's and with a child its a long journey with nothing to do.
Love the price but my sanity is more important.DBF quite willing to book this or VA but just wanted to save him some money after all he is paying for everything.

While those prices would seriously tempt me, I too would be put off by the lack of entertainment, especially with children, but even for an adult - it's a long time to sit with a crossword
