American Accents.....

This is what it says:

Western. Like Midland, Western is another accent that people consider neutral. So, you might not actually be from the Western half of the country, but you definitely sound like it.

I'm from the east,Florida. :p

i got neutral

YES I AM AMERICAN!!!!

i didn't really need a quiz to tell me that but i was kind of mad they didn't really ask anything about your "r" sounds cause if they had i would have gotten purely Rhode Island
which makes sense it's where i'm from :thumbsup2

Northern. Whether you have the world famous Inland North accent of the Great Lakes area, or the radio-friendly sound of upstate NY and western New England, your accent is what used to set the standard for American English pronunciation (not much anymore now that the Inland North sounds like it does).

I guess I have the world famous Inland North accent of the Great Lakes. :p

Western. Even though I'm from the south...

Idk, some people say I sound southern, and others don't.

Mmm.

LOL!!! wow...i took the test and it said;

Canada. You probably get irritated when British people and Europeans think you're from the States, but over here we wouldn't make a mistake like that.

If you're not Canadian, you're either a Minnesotan, or you're a Westerner who over-thought some of the questions on the quiz.

How accurate!

I got Mid-Atlanic but I totally should have gotten Boston area because I'm from RI too. But I was taking the quiz and texting at the same time so I wasn't really paying attention.

But in RI we drop/add a lot of Rs. Like idea becomes idear. I'm from Warwick and I say waw-wick. Oh and I was looking up something about Ft. Lauderdale and I always thought it was pronounced Ft. Laurderdale. Thanks accent. I can't really remember right now what other things we do differently in RI besides saying Wicked a lot.

EDIT: I took the quiz again and it said I have a Western Accent.

Well I got western, but that isn't right.
I don't sound like that at all since I have an austrailian accent!

North Central. This is what everyone calls a "Minnesota accent." If you saw "Fargo" or "Drop Dead Gorgeous" you probably didn't think the characters sounded very out of the ordinary. Some Americans may mistake you for a Canadian.

If you are not a northern Minnesotan, you are probably one of these:
(a) A Yooper from the Upper Peninsula of Michigan; or
(b) A Canadian who has a mostly but not completely Canadian accent

!?!?!?
