America West Airlines

Has anyone used this airline to go to DL? I've never even heard of them until I logged into JWA and I went into their website and they are the cheapest fare I see from the east to the west coast. But I would like to hear from anyone that has actually used them. TIA

I've flown America West many times. They are fine, just like any other lower fare airline. They run pretty much on time and you get assigned seats.

Thank you for your reply Michelle. I was able to get a non-stop flight with Continental for only $8 more so I took that. I hate connecting flights, I've got rotten luck with them, I've had them 3 times and I've always missed the connection (through no fault of mine, no less!). Thanks again!!
