Ambulatory but Needs Frequent Breaks

I had a medical procedure and struggle with standing long periods. If I got a rollator what would I do with it when I go on rides? I can walk but standing kills my hip. I don’t look forward to pushing a rollator through the parks at 58 but last trip was so miserable I may need to get one. I wonder if I could push it folded up and open it when in line. Any advice would be appreciated.

Assuming the queue is accessible you would simply push it along the same as an ECV or wheelchair. When you get to the point where you board the ride, CM will take the rollator and move it to where the ride disembarks where the other assistive devices are located. You could always park it outside the ride and walk the queue but it sounds like that would defeat the purpose.

Honestly, if you were miserable last trip, who cares what strangers might think? Truth be told people are thinking lots of things… and they never have anything to do with you! Do what is best for you and have a wonderful trip.

I know when we pushed my mom in a wheelchair there were times we had to park it near the stroller parking. They always asked if she could walk from that point. She had lupus so she could not walk long distances but could stand for a little and walk short distances.
I once did have the CM at Pirates keep insisting I should walk on my crutches instead of taking my (manual) wheelchair through the queue. He kept insisting, "It's just a few steps!" Eventually I just gave in and did what he wanted, because trying to argue with him was ending up being harder and more time-consuming than hobbling the whole length of the queue. But I'm pretty sure that was just one wrongheaded CM instead of official policy.
