Amazon Shipped a Damaged Book

I just received a book from Amazon that I ordered for my mom for Christmas. The pages at the edge of the book don't line up and the ones that stick out are all bent. I don't want to have to pay to ship it back to them and then pay to have another one sent to me. At this point I think I'll just have to wrap it up and give it to her and tell her I'll exchange it for an another one after Christmas. Is Amazon connected to Borders? Would I be able to take it there and exchange it?

I'm not sure they are affliated with Borders...BUT, if you let them know they will send you a replacement book ASAP!

No, Amazon is not associated with Borders.

According to Amazon, they will pay your return shipping too as long as you bought it from Amazon itself and not from the "Amazon Marketplace". I think your book falls under the "defective item" clause below.
