Amazon Prime Question?

So I signed up for the free 3 month Amazon mom trial, and have been enjoying it. They gave me an extra month for some reason, not sure why.
I haven't ordered diapers because we use the store brand, and they are still cheaper even with the extra discount. However tonight it just occurred to me to check on Goodnites for my daughter. Duh!
Anyway, as far as I can tell, they are cheaper, so I'm wondering if anyone knows how the free shipping trial works?
If I do their subscription program, will my trial continue?
It seems like it should, but I wanted to check?
Thanks for your help!

if your signed up for the mom's club for every 20$ (I think its 20$) you spend in their baby section you get an extra month of prime added to your account.. diapers on amazon are by far the cheapest for pampers with the free shipping then 15% off for sub & save. I also locked in a promo rate a year ago (maybe more!) for them so I get a box of size 5 (116) for just over 20$ delivered to my door.. its so nice!

ETA its 25$ in a single order in the baby mall.. http://www.amazon.com/gp/feature.ht..._rd_p=1274569502&pf_rd_i=amazon-mom-edit-info

I signed up for the Amazon Mom too....how do you know how long the Amazon prime will last and do you have to cancel...I can't remember... Thank you.:goodvibes

the mom's club club trial is 3 months. :)

Amazon gave everyone a "free" additional month as a Christmas "bonus." :)

You can earn up to a year of Amazon prime with your baby store purchases, but the 3 month trial is included in that. For example, when I made my first $25+ purchase from the baby store, the next month I got an email saying that I'd extended my membership by 1 month for the purchase, and I can still earn an additional 8 months of Amazon Prime with more purchases.

With Subscribe & Save, the price that qualifies towards the Prime extension is the one BEFORE the S&S discount, so say, if diapers are $35 BEFORE the subscribe and save discount, THAT is the price they count toward your Prime membership, even though you may only PAY $24 or so. :)

Hope that helps!

You don't have to have a kid in diapers to sign up for it, my kids are 9 & 6. I just wanted the free Amazon Prime membership for 3 months! And now it's 4 free months. This membership really helped me out during these holidays. I have sent at least 6 gifts from Amazon w/ it, and I didn't have to go to the post office once. Whoo hoo! I don't know if I could pay $79 a year for it, but I'm going to milk it for all I can while I have it.

Ok so you get 4 months free...do you have to cancel or do they send you an email about it ending...thank you...:goodvibes

I have Prime through amazon mom too. I get the Luvs diapers and my daughters goodnights through there. My free membership was just extended thorugh May. Woo! I don't know how much I would have spent on shipping this holiday season but it would have been a lot because 3/4 of my gifts came from there.

ETA: And I am totally spoiled by sometimes getting my packages the day after I order them. It would be hard to wait 5-7 business days.

Thanks all! I've been buying the Target brand diapers for my little one, but I'll have to do some more research to see if I can get a better price!

I love Amazon prime and am going to miss it if it expires! I don't see how they make money on it, though. Really spoils you, the Kohls orders I made took over 2 weeks!

My kids are older, but one still uses the pull-up type at night. I'd do the "subscribe" for those and wipes, but they are each under $25. Is there any way to do 2 subscriptions as 1 order so I get an extra month?

As always thank you guys for informing me on this :thumbsup2 I did not know about this program, I just subscribed and placed my first order, what else is good about this program?

If the original price (before the S&S) is over $25, THAT is the price that counts towards the Prime extension. :)

I just love the free 2-day shipping in general. I use it for everything, and since I do so many programs online where I earn Amazon GC's, it's a FABULOUS deal in the end. I can pay next to nothing for items I would have bought in town and get them in 2 days, which makes it much easier than loading up the kids, driving the 20 minutes into town, and trying to get it all done myself. So I only buy the required baby items as needed to extend my membership. :)
