We will be going for a quick trip in october. I've ordered through Garden Grocer before and have been very happy but we are only going for 5 nights and don't need a lot of stuff. Can someone tell me about your experiences with Amazon Prime Now? Is it basically like GG where they take it to Bell Services? If I get milk and yogurt do they separate it like GG so that Bell Services know that it needs to be refridgerated? Thanks for any info you can give me!

I didn't know there was a way to buy cold items from Amazon. We're also only going for 5 nights but I still ordered beer, wine, breakfast items, creamer, diet coke etc. from Garden Grocer just before our 30 day window so I could get their early ordering discount. Can you order beer & wine from Amazon?

pretty sure GG only requires $45. total bill. wont't take long to reach it. Did not know about Amazon Prime delivery.

Prime Now doesn't deliver in Florida yet - or didn't a month ago when we were buying groceries. Prime Now is what you'd need for refrigerated/frozen goods.

Prime now is great. But it definitely confused the front desk. Both ssr and boardwalk desks were confused. I think they accept it like they do garden grocer but the front desk doesn't understand. Start at the valet services. Front desk thinks it's a package and it's not

Resort policy is to not accept in person deliveries if the vendor isn't a business partner. The guest has to meet the vendor to accept delivery.

Companies who are business partners, bell services will accept delivery for in person items and groceries. They will also accept parcels at the non-convention center resorts. At convention resorts, parcels are delivered to the convention business centers and a handling fee is required for pick up.

I'm sitting on prime pantry credits from purchases. Had thought to do a pantry order to BWV next month but it appears that since there is a business center there we would be assessed a charge and have to pick it up between 9 am - 5 pm.

That is incorrect. They were functioning in Orlando in July. We received our order at BLT with no,issues whatsoever.

Was it a Fresh order - not a Pantry order? Because I looked into it in August and got a "no service to this area" in August for Fresh at Boardwalk - Pantry I could have done. And did again today to double check.

i think everyone is getting confused as there are so many options now. there is Amazon Prime, Prime Now, Amazon Fresh, Prime Pantry. I started the post about Prime Now which is a little like Garden Grocer where you order items off of a list they have and they will deliver it in 2 hours for free if you are a Prime member. From the little research I did, it looks like you can tell them to leave the order with bell services and then call for the groceries like you do with GG. I wonder if they will refridgerate your perishables for you? Has anyone had success using them or is it still too new and I should stick with GG?

As I posted, if they aren't a Disney business partner, policy stats that bell services isn't suppose to accept delivery and you will need to meet the delivery yourself. As most things, the policy may not be followed but do you want to take than chance? As far as I know GG is a partner, WeGo is not. Several ECV, stroller, and crib companies were removed from the accepted list.

Isn't Wegoshop used all the time at disney?

Prime Fresh is not available in Lake Buena Vista Yet. If using Prime Pantry you order will be sent to bell services. They will not put it in the fridge. Prime Pantry does not offer perishable items that require refrigeration during shipment but yes they sell items that need refrigerated after opening. If it is an order from Garden Grocery they will refrigerate it.

So OP if you need to order perishables you will need to use Garden Grocery for refrigerated items

Have read several posts that Prime Pantry is sent to the business center vs bell services when applicable and it incurs a handling fee (although I've seen a few posts where DVC members say they weren't charged).

We just got back from 10 days at OKW and put in an Amazon Prime Now order that included Milk, Butter, Ice Cream, Eggos, as well as grocery items that did not need a freezer or fridge. They dropped it off at Bell Services and there was no problem at all. Bell Services brought it to our room when we got back from the park.

So there you go -- at OKW it works!

thank you. that was exactly the info i was looking for. and we will be at OKW too!

FYI We have used WeGoShop 3-4 times and the items have always been left with bell services and then delivered to our room when we arrived. No need to go get them.

We are going to give Prime Now a try this next trip in Nov.

It's been stated that Disney's policy is not to accept it if they aren't an approved partner.... however I will tell you bell services accepted my Amazon prime now order at Beach club this summer. I was on my way down to meet the driver. By the time I got there bell services had taken the delivery already. So they brought it up to the room.

You provide a phone number and they give you a 2 hour delivery window. The driver will call you if you don't leave delivery instructions. Just leave instructions to have the driver call you upon arrival.
