I signed up for a free 1 month membership of prime right before Christmas. Is there any benefits to having it other than not having to spend $25 to get free shipping?

Ah, signing out first worked. Thanks!! Darn, dd just ordered a game on here a couple days ago and had to pay for shipping. Oh, well.

I signed out of my amazon account before clicking the link, and it did show me the free two day shipping button. I had to go all the way to nearly the end on the checkout process to get the Prime offer (to the final order review page). Then on the review page it confirmed my trial and I was able to click on the small "change quantities" link below that to remove the item form my cart.

Thanks for the tip ... I have lots of birthdays coming up!
