Truly amazing. Thank you for sharing. I can see the comparisons to Pompeii, since everything has stood still and is preserved. Truly tragic. I think that woman is very brave and truly lucky to have a chance to experience that first hand.

Thanks for the link. This happened right before my family left Poland. I still remember my parents not allowing me to go outside to play because they wore afraid of the radiation.

So sad that this has happened ever. I mourn for the people of Chernobyl and area.

OMG- How did you find that? Honestly it is one of the most amazing things I have ever read on the net! She needs to make a TV documentary. More people need to see what the "dead zone" is like now.

It's almost unbelievable, like science fiction. She has a lot of guts to travel through that zone.

Can you imagine if we had an area like this, courtesy of Three Mile Island? I'm just completely blown away! So glad that I clicked on the link.

I got as far as the azure pool. Her descriptions are so good too, they really seem to grasp what a lot of the horror must have been like.

I'm definitely clicking on your posts more often.
