So surprised the brothers pulled it off, usually the team in the lead seems to win. The scramble format made it a more exciting finale.

I wanted the brothers to win, I liked their relationship but I wouldn’t have minded any of them winning.

Although I liked all three teams, I was rooting for Joel and Garrett. When I like all the teams I tend to root for the one that I think the money will benefit more from winning the money. Garret has a special needs daughter and that money would have made a huge difference in their lives. The brothers are young, extremely smart, and just starting out and will have plenty of time ahead to make money.

According to interviews, second place teams receive $25, 000 and third place teams receive $10,000.

I believe they split that so that’s $12,500 each before taxes so probably under $10,000 after taxes. Prize money for second and third place should be a lot more.

Loved the final this year. The scramble format kept things interesting. I was happy with the final 3 but my faves were Cory and Rob. I also liked that there were no "quai-famous" teams this year. I don't mind if the entire cast is from reality tv, or blogger/vloggers but IMO that's a different show.

That was a close 1st and 2nd place. so happy for the brothers though.

I was really wanting Corey and Rob to win but was happy with any of them, it was nice to watch them all race throughout the season. I agree with other posters that the scramble was good to end it with that.

I'm not sure Corey and Rob would have won but certainly arriving last to the last challenge didn't help. I was so happy to see Rob get that gymnastic challenge my cat even got startled at my reaction

Joel and Garrett were sooooo close at the end. They had great teamwork at the band challenge.

The brothers killed it at the memory of legs challenge good for them!

They did pretty darn well throughout the race on navigation kinda sucks for them to have that happen on the last leg

John and Greg were "my team" from the first night, and I also LOVED the other brother team, Liam and Yerami. All these young men are roughly the same age as my DS (who laments not having a brother), so their sweet relationships really touched my mama's heart.

It was impossible not to like Rob and Corey and The Beards were my DH's top pick. Truly a race well run without any unnecessary drama or weird format changes trying to jazz things up, although I did miss the non-elimination legs. OG Amazing Race and an extremely enjoyable season!

Plus not all teams approach it the same way. Each team can do scramble based on distance, based on estimated guess on how hard/long it would take, etc.
