After watching, I wouldn't call the outcome controversial. I mean, it's not as if a plane went back to the gate to pick up a team that missed the flight.

Was there high levels of salinity? Yes, but that's been the case with 3 of the last 4 eliminated teams. You do what you need to do in order to get to the finals, as long as it's allowed.

Still, I wouldn't call what happened "honourable", so it doesn't leave a great taste in my mouth about the final 3.

I know he was disappointed, but I was surprised at DeAngelo’s attitude. He came across as a sore loser.

I'm rooting for Hung and Chee as I don’t like the other two teams.
And I thought the challenges were really boring tonight. The only bright spot was seeing Phil run in heels.

Man that was poor sportsmanship there and he should know how that can come off, between the two Gary tended to seem more humble. I remember watching the art episode and being delighted that he was so enthusiastic about art, his eyes just lit up in that room, it was really sweet.

I agree about the boyfriends, they get on my nerves more and more.

I think it was an "in the moment" reaction. He probably hates to lose.

I don't think it was about losing. Nobody likes to lose, but I think he felt like the others cheated to get them out and that was unfair. He probably had 2 hours to stew over it and thought about all the times when the Mind 5 were supposed to help each other and they didn't get any help or only paltry help. That betrayal upset him enough that he felt, in that moment like it was all a waste and he's rich enough that he didn't have to do this to see the world, and get humiliated by people who betrayed his trust.

DeAngelo is VERY competitive. I agree it's likely the betrayal that stung the most. The top three played REALLY dirty. Puts a damper on this season.

Gary is one of the founders of American Football Without Barriers. DeAngelo travels around the world with him supporting his cause.

DeAngelo's foundation raises money for illiteracy and breast cancer. He lost his mother and several family members to
Breast cancer.

Still holds a grudge to this day and calls them out whenever he can. His social media is also very negative and confrontational, so this is par for the course with him. I was a big fan of his when he was with the Panthers, but like most of that fan base at the time, he went from hero to villain with his behavior post release. Sore loser and a cry baby.

Yep know all about his nonsense. I didn’t hate him on the show or anything, but I didn’t want them to win. I hold football grudges for years. Lol.

I have a different opinion and so do many others. I don't consider him a villain.

Last night we watched season 1 episode 1 just to see how much has changed. Now those people were RUDE.

I cannot stand the final 3. For the first time, considering not watching the finale. The boyfriends are rotten, Hung and Chee just are tag-alongs, and the beards have ended up acting like asses. They, and Gary/DeAngelo were my faves from the getgo, but the "Mind 5" ruined that. I wish that each team had to do it alone, no help. It feels very middle-school when there are alliances.

I agree - it was pretty crappy of the other three teams, and I think the boyfriends have been manipulating the other teams all season. It is what it is, unfortunately. It's not illegal to work with other teams, but I suppose it will be interesting if they get a really difficult task in the finale, since most of these teams have not had to do a task without help all season.

I don't care anything about how much money a team has, just want them to be fun to watch. Gary and De'Angelo were the only fun players left in this bunch.
