Three Things...Gratitude Thread

My engagement ring and the matching band I had created- I love my rings. It's got a sort of fun story but I won't bore you with 15 paragraphs about jewelry.

St. Patrick's Day glitter kit - I'm not up for any sparkly run skirts or tutus this year, but for this weekend's races, I bought a kit with four kinds of green holiday themed glitter so I can add it to my hair. Probably skipping my face, but maybe arms or shoulders?

Disney Princess dresses - Some of my favorite WDW memories with my girls were their trips to BBB. It was one big sparkly event, from hair glitter and all sorts of little jeweled trinkets to nails and makeup. The dresses were my absolute faves...especially the park ones. They were so well made compared to the other commercially produced alternatives. I still have all of them in my closet, right next to my wedding gown (also very sparkly).

*Side note- already regretting that pink tank from yesterday's gratitude. The delivery date shifted to Sunday after I ordered and after they flipped the status to shipped. Meaning, unless they magically speed up the process, it's going to arrive too late. I just hate when things shift after the fact. Oh well, I'll still probably keep it if it fits well and the material doesn't feel like it will make me chafe.

Afternoon all,

1. Nails - sparkly nail polish or wraps are usually my favourite kind to wear, they just look so beautiful and love how they shimmer. They usually make me feel sparkly in return 😂

2. Party wear - similar to the nails, I love wearing sparkly or glittery clothing when going out for something nice or celebratory. I have far too many sequin dresses, skirts and tops.

3. Glittery leggings - in addition to the party wear, I have a pair of black glittery fleece lined leggings that while not suitable for going out formally, I love wearing them for more casual occasions to be a little more sparkly.

Sparkley things:

Sparkley, shiney snow crystals on a freezing cold, sunny day. They sparkle like diamonds.

Diamonds- and really most all of the gemstones. I think they are beautiful.

My Crocs! They are all I can wear for shoes, so I figure I might as well go for it! I have a silver glitter pair, a gold glitter pair, and these Harry Potter beauties, which are emerald, sapphire, or amethyst, depending on how the light hits them:

1. My engagement and wedding ring set.
2. The matching earrings.
3. The sun catchers I have in my windows to catch the rays and shower the room in sparkles.

Good Afternoon!!

Popping in real quick......

If it's one think I love is shiny and sparkly things.

#1 - MY MAGIC BAND - DD22 is in the process of gluing gems/pearls on it to make it more fancy. She already did hers and it looks amazing!!! I can hardly wait to see how mine is going to look when it's done.

#2 - SPARKLY DISNEY SHIRTS - I have a few that I just love love love. One I wear very seldom, because the sparkle comes off very easily. DD22 is going to wear it one day on our upcoming trip - it's nice that we wear pretty much the same size.

#3 - DIAMOND ART - I worked on these during COVID and stopped working on them when I took more of an interest in jigsaw puzzles. I have some very pretty Christmas ones that I made and I put them out for display every Christmas. I have an unfinished Mickey Mouse one that I keep wanting to complete, but at this point, the stickiness may not be as sticky and the gems may not adhere to the fabric.
